Trinity Mouzon Wofford is the Co-Founder and CEO of Golde, a superfood health and beauty brand.
Trinity launched Golde at age 23 in response to a wellness industry dichotomously split between the “crunchy granola” of yesterday and the ultra-luxe, inaccessible offerings that dominated the modern movement. Teaming up with her longtime partner, Issey Kobori, Trinity built a brand centered in making wellness approachable, inclusive, and fun.
Following Golde’s launch in 2017, Trinity bootstrapped the business to distribution with over 100 unique retailers, including Urban Outfitters, Goop, and Sephora (where she is the youngest woman of color to ever launch a brand).
Trinity is a champion of transparency as a tool to empower her fellow rising entrepreneurs. She leverages her journey building a brand with no funding and little experience to encourage a more accessible path to entrepreneurship for all via her #office_hrs series on social media. Following an enthusiastic response, #office_hrs is now expanding to a bimonthly newsletter and event series to provide further resources for young people looking to launch or scale their own enterprises.
Inc. Magazine recently named Trinity one of the top 100 Female Founders in 2019. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
